Job Description:

  1. Develop and organize construction work schedules and sequences to ensure efficient project execution.
  2. Review tender documents, construction drawings, technical specifications, and contracts to fully understand project scope and requirements.
  3. Coordinate with consultants, clients, main contractors, and subcontractors regarding site activities, design submissions, and project progress monitoring.
  4. Conduct site inspections to ensure all works are carried out in compliance with project specifications, construction drawings, and authority-approved drawings.
  5. Supervise and guide supervisors and foremen in coordinating site works, resolving technical matters, and monitoring project progress with contractors, consultants, and authorities.
  6. Assist in preparing method statements and construction methodologies for project implementation.
  7. Support the Project Manager in project budgeting, preparation of monthly progress claims, and project reporting.
  8. Collaborate with the Quantity Surveyor (QS) in reviewing and validating progress claims and payment submissions.
  9. Manage project handover activities to clients, including completion of rectification and defect correction works.

Job Requirements:

  1. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in contract administration, quantity surveying, or construction commercial management within the construction industry.
  2. Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  3. Strong experience in negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and administering various types of construction contracts and subcontract agreements.
  4. In-depth knowledge of construction law, contract management practices, claims management, and risk mitigation strategies.
  5. Strong commercial awareness with proven problem-solving capabilities in resolving contractual, commercial, and project-related issues.
  6. Experienced in managing contractual correspondences, variation claims, dispute resolution, and project cost control.
  7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and cross-functional project teams.
  8. Ability to work independently in fast-paced project environments while maintaining strong attention to detail and contractual compliance.
  9. Must be a Singaporean Citizen or Singaporean Permanent Resident, currently based in Singapore.
