Job Description:
Currently our client who is a well-established brand in shoes manufacturing industry is looking for Cutting Superintendent to join their team as detailed below:
• Responsible for planning and implementing cutting / tailoring activities.
• To responsible for manufacture, modification, selection of cutting process & procedure as per request article, quality parameters or requirements.
• Properly understand cutting requirements include stamping and tailoring.
• Responsible for daily target as per discussion with manager to realize the target with quality.
• Calculate and establish operative times in cutting process using various method and techniques. Control the production timings, comparing with estimates.
• Make the cutting plan as the importance of time and shipment schedule.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor, Diploma (Leather Technology)
• Someone with matured personality, well articulated communication to all level.
• Transform goal into execution, broad thinking, problem-solving, decision-making ability.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in cutting production (footwear industry)
• Knowledge of SATRA leather grading system will be valuable.
• Knowledge Leather cutting and grading methodology, include calculation, variance of the leather properties, surface, and elongation, cutting directions, and elaborate most effective / efficient cutting process.
• Knowledge of process, technology and machinery involved in the leather goods manufacturing.
