Job Description:
- Advise The Project Manager Of Any Technical Aspects Of The Electrical System And Equipment
- Review And Evaluate Consultant's Drawing In Conjunction With The Structural And Mechanical Engineers To Ensure Engineering Co-ordination And Advise The Project Manager Accordingly
- Attend Project, Site Progress And Technical Meetings As Directed By The Project Manager
- Prepare Draft Site / Engineer's Instructions, As Required And Issue To The Project Manager
- Prepare Draft Incident Report For Root Cause Analysis And Coordination To Project Manager And HSE
- Chair MEP Design Team Meetings, As Required
- Set Up Meetings To Resolve Specific Site Problems As Required To Minimise Program Delays
- Advise On Long Lead Equipment (LLE) MEP Items That May Affect Progress Of The Works
- Deal With Contractor's RFIs Relating To The MEP Works
- Monitor Quality Of The Contractor's Construction Installations
- Ensure That Daily, Weekly And Monthly Progress Reports Are Produced With Regards To MEP Works
- Involve In Test And Commissioning For Mechanical & Fire System (FAT, SAT And IST)
- Prepare And Review Method Of Statement
- Prepare And Review Drawing Submission And Material Submission
- Perform Hands-on Operation And Maintenance Of All Data Centre Building Electrical Engineering-related Equipment And Systems, Which Include, But Are Not Limited To: UPS, PDUs, Generators, Switchgear, Etc.
- Carry Out Routine Preventive And Corrective Maintenance As Directed On All Equipment Specified
- Promptly Report All Equipment/system Anomalies Noted
- Maintain Logs, Record Readings, Document Equipment Histories, And Prepare Other Engineering-related Documentation
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or 5+ years of relevant experience Data Centre Project or Data Centre Operation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings and technical manuals required
- Has the knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, BIM 360 and Project Management software
- Demonstrated experience with Electrical system and equipments (UPS, PDUs, generators, switchgear, etc.)
- Data Centre Training Certification is preferred
- Fluent in English is a mandatory
