  • Create And Maintain ETL Pipeline 
  • Test ETL Pipeline 
  • Deal With Data And Search Issues Within The System
  • Build On-demand ETL Script To Extract Necessary Data For Team Needs
  • Tune Database Performance 
  • Maintain Database Systems
  • Communicate Issues And Escalate If Needed By Understanding The Bigger Picture 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum 2 Years Of Experience As Data Engineer Or 4 Years As Backend Engineer
  • Background In Computer Science, Or Information Systems (Bachelor Degree)
  • Proficient In ETL Tools Such As Pentaho Data Integration, Open Talend, Apache NiFi, Etc
  • Extensive Knowledge In Database Structures And Systems
  • An Understanding Of The Software Development Life Cycle And How Testing Applies
  • Knowledge In Automated Pipeline Systems 
  • Proficient In Using Both OLAP And OLTP Database Systems
  • Experience In Related Programming Language To Execute Test Cases (python, Ruby, Etc)
  • Possess Strong Debugging Skills
  • Problem-solving Attitude
  • Experience Logging Defects In Bug Tracking Systems Such As Jira
  • Experience Working On A Live Product, Mobile Applications
  • Experience Working In A Distributed System
  • Excellent Analytical, Decision-making, Problem-solving, Team Work, And Time Management Skills
  • Positive Outlook, Strong Work Ethic, And Responsive To Internal And External Clients And Contacts
  • Good Collaboration And Communication Skills
  • Fluent In English Is A Must (Oral And Written)
