Job Description:
- Reporting To Legal Director In Jakarta Office
- Provide Advice, Guidance Inputs On Compliance, Regulatory And Contractual Issues To Support Indonesia Market Growth
- Helping Corporate Secretarial Matters, Coordinate With Global IP Counsel, Brand Protection Manager And Other Global Subject Matter Experts
- Understand The Size And Nature Of The Counterfeit And Illegal Product Issues
- Bring The Company's Leadership Standards And Purpose To Life And Actively Promote Initiatives Internally To Other Employees And Market
- Implement Brand Protection Strategy And Ensure That Brand Protection Activities Are Fully Compliant And Are Delivering On Key KPIs
- Effectively Manage External Service Providers To Ensure Delivery Of Key KPIs
- Promptly And Professionally Handle Customer/consumer Complaints In Relation To Suspicious Counterfeits Or Quality Concerns
- Work Closely Within Legal And Other Functions Such As Corporate Relations, Supply, Marketing, And Commercial On Brand Protection Initiatives
- Conduct Trade Partnership Audits, Market Visits, And Monitor The Counterfeit Landscape
- Establish Relationship With External Stakeholders And Relevant Governmental Agencies To Influence Enforcement And Intellectual Property Protection
- Build Counterfeit Awareness Amongst Employees, Customers, Governmental Offices, And General Public - Train The Trainer; And
- Regularly Report And Update Brand Protection Working Group And Global Brand Protection Team On Brand Protection Activities And Environment
Job Requirements:
- 5 PQE up, with experience at a leading law firm or relevant in-house experience
- Experience in IP is preferable
- English proficiency is a must as you will liaise with regional and global office
- Experience in handling compliance challenged markets
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, commercial / pragmatic approach and strong influencing / coaching skills
- Strong commercial law background, especially in the negotiation and documentation of commercial contracts
- Ability to work within the commercial environment and to identify business critical issues and prioritise workload to align with business needs
