Job Description:
- Working Closely With The KTT For The Site And Reporting To The General Manager
- Responsible For The Systems Related To Safety, Health, And The Environment
- Strategic Planning And Leadership For All Mine Operations
- Responsible For The Achievement Of Business Goals For The Organisation (mining Operations, Quality Control, Civil/engineering, And Human Resources)
- Preparing An Annual Budget For Opex And Capex
- Managing Personnel Turnover And Implement KPIs For The Site
- Set Priorities For The Project And The Planning That Goes With It
Job Requirements:
- BSc in Mining Engineering
- Minimum of 12 years experience in mine operations and at least 3 years in a senior mining operations role. Some nickel laterite experience preferred but not essential
- Dynamic, energetic and confident personality
- Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment will be advantageous
- Strong understanding of mine productivity and data analysis; Familiarity with mine design and survey software (Surpac)
