Job Description:
- Oversee Managers And Coordinate Teams To Ensure That All Construction And Expansion Projects Are Completed On Time And Within Budget To A High Standard
- Provide Leadership And Strategically Manage Risk, Monitor Finances And Ensure Each Phase Of Work Is Started Or Completed On Time
- Makes Strategic Decisions And Provides Leadership And Direction To Managers And Implement Those Decisions
- Present And Meets With Clients, Stakeholders, And General Manager On Project Progress
- Establishes Systems To Ensure Organization's Continuous Improvement Processes And Make Sure It Communicated To All Stakeholders
- Develop Strategies To Ensure Workplace Learning Opportunities And Team Members Are Encouraged To Share Their Skills And Knowledge To Encourage A Learning Culture Within The Team
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Extractive Industry or Engineering and or equivalent combination of training and experience in large-scale construction projects in multi-national mining sites
- Have middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognised by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector)
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Project Management with previous experience managing project scopes with value over USD 500 mio
- Knowledgeable on subcontract management, including project controls, configuration management, risk management, schedule and cost control
- Proven ability to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a familiarity of industry practices and regulations are required
