Job Description:
The Senior
Manager Environment Holds Several Responsibilities, Including Leading The
Development Of Environmental And Sustainability Policies And Standards,
Managing The Corporate Environmental And Sustainability Team, And Consolidating
Or Developing Company Environmental Systems. They Provide Environmental
Management Support To All Sites, Including Exploration Sites And Project
Department's Projects Or Activities, And Offer Guidance, Advice, And Assistance
To Operational Site Management To Enhance Environmental Management Capacity,
Systems, And Compliance. The Senior Manager Environment Manages Auditing And
Inspection Services For Exploration Projects And Operational Sites To Ensure
Compliance With Environmental Policies, Procedures, And Legislative
Requirements. They Also Oversee The Production Of Sustainability Reports And
Relevant Monthly And Annual Reports Pertaining To Environment/Sustainability,
Ensuring Regulatory Compliance And Implementing Initiatives That Surpass
Environmental Compliance. Lastly, The Senior Manager Environment Creates A Positive
Teamwork Environment By Communicating Openly And Honestly At All Times.
Job Requirements:
- Tertiary degree in Environment, or possess relevant qualifications in these fields
- In terms of work experience, the candidate must have a minimum of 15 years of professional experience in areas related to mineral or metal processing, or metal mining
- Additionally,
the candidate should have at least 6 years of experience working as a Manager
or Superintendent
