Sustainability Data Scientist Lead

• Data Strategy: Develop And Implement A Data Strategy To Track, Measure, And Report On The Environmental And Social Performance Of Our Organization. Identify Relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) And Data Sources.
• Data Collection: Oversee The Collection And Aggregation Of Data Related To Sustainability, Including Energy Usage, Emissions, Waste Reduction, Supply Chain, And Social Impact Metrics. Ensure Data Quality And Accuracy.
• Data Analysis: Lead Data Analysis Efforts To Identify Trends, Anomalies, And Opportunities For Improvement. Utilize Statistical Techniques, Machine Learning, And Data Visualization To Derive Actionable Insights.
• Modeling And Forecasting: Build Predictive Models To Forecast Sustainability-related Metrics, Enabling Proactive Decision-making And Goal Setting.
• Reporting: Prepare And Deliver Sustainability Reports For Internal And External Stakeholders, Including Regulatory Compliance Reports And Sustainability Disclosure Reports (e.g., GRI, CDP, ESG).
• Collaboration: Collaborate With Cross-functional Teams To Develop And Implement Sustainability Initiatives And Projects, And Provide Data-driven Support To Optimize Existing Processes.
• Innovation: Stay Updated On Emerging Trends In Sustainability, Data Science, And Technology To Recommend Innovative Approaches And Tools To Improve Sustainability Efforts.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a data science role, preferably with a focus on sustainability.
• Strong proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and reporting standards (e.g., GRI, CDP, SASB).
• Experience with sustainability software and platforms is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and project management skills
