Job Description:
- Collaborate With Artists, Designers, And Developers To Define And Implement The Artistic Vision Of Our AR Product
- Develop And Maintain Efficient And Optimised Pipelines For Asset Creation, Integration, And Rendering In AR Environments
- Create And Implement Shaders, Materials, Lighting, And Post-processing Effects To Achieve High-quality Visuals In Real-time AR Experiences
- Optimise Asset And Scene Performance For Different Platforms, Considering Factors Such As Polygon Count, Texture Sizes, And Rendering Techniques
- Work Closely With The Development Team To Identify And Address Technical Constraints And Limitations Related To Real-time Rendering, AR Tracking, And Device Performance
- Ensure That Art Assets And Animations Are Properly Integrated Into The AR Application, Maintaining Their Visual Fidelity And Functionality
- Collaborate With The UI/UX Team To Integrate AR Elements Seamlessly Into The User Interface And Overall User Experience
- Conduct Research And Stay Up-to-date With The Latest Trends, Techniques, And Tools In AR, Real-time Rendering, And Related Technologies
- Troubleshoot And Debug Technical Issues Related To Art Assets, Rendering, And Performance Optimisation
- Collaborate With Cross-functional Teams To Define And Establish Best Practices And Workflows For Art Asset Creation, Optimisation, And Integration
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in utilising Unreal Engine 5 and Maya
- Strong command over scripting using Python and expertise in Maya Python API
- Experience in creating and implementing shaders
- Comprehensive understanding of the workflows and procedures in art and animation pipelines
- Previous exposure to game physics and dynamic animation systems
- Demonstrated track record of contributing to the release of a AAA title in a Technical Artist role
- Proficiency in C++ would be highly advantageous
- Knowledge and familiarity with character rigging and related rigging and animation tools is an added advantage
